Every Scout progresses through the ranks at their own pace. Each level brings new adventures, skills, and a growing sense of accomplishment.
Cub Scouting has six ranks, each corresponding to a grade level. Scouts advance year by year, earning their way to the Arrow of Light — the highest Cub Scout award, and a bridge to Scouts BSA.
The entry point for the youngest Scouts! Lions explore the world around them through play and discovery, beginning to understand what it means to be a Scout. Parents participate alongside their young Lion in every adventure.
Tigers explore their community and learn about the world through hands-on activities. From nature hikes to STEM projects, Tigers start building the foundational skills of Scouting while having a blast along the way.
Wolves are active Scouts! They earn adventures in areas like citizenship, outdoor skills, and personal safety. Wolf Scouts are stepping into greater independence while staying part of a strong, supportive den team.
Bear Scouts take on more challenging adventures and begin to explore leadership. From first aid basics to community service, Bears are building the character and skills that define a great Scout — and a great person.
WE'll BE LOyal Scouts — Webelos are preparing for the next chapter. They earn activity badges in areas like engineering, nature, and fitness, and begin to take on real leadership responsibilities within their den.
